I received a recall notice 3 months ago. The dealer said they would order parts and call me when they come in. I have been waiting now for three months. I have contacted them to check on the parts and they continue to say it is still on order. If this was a safety issue as the recall explains you think someone would want this fixed sooner. No one seems in a rush to get it done.

When shutting off engine today, 08/26/15, switch would not go to the "off" position but stayed in accessory position causing the battery to drain. We have been on the recall list for over a year and dealer tells us he is unable to get parts. We have called our local dealer, don nester Chrysler in houghton lake mi numerous times about our concern over this recall. I called them again this morning and was told again that they are unable to get the parts through Chrysler so I called Chrysler customer service and talked to damon. He then called three different dealers in my 48653 area looking for parts. When he was unable to locate them he told me I would just "have to wait". I explained that I needed the parts shipped over night to my dealer and was told that was impossible. I then asked for a loaner and was told that was not a option. I then asked to talk to a supervisor and he refused to connect me to anyone else. His only suggestion was to call every dealer in the state of Michigan to get on there list! I now have a 7 year old van that is not operable, and that parts are not available for!

This is a reoccurring issue, while driving the car, the lights on dashboard all go on and the car just stops. We have called regarding the recall parts but continue hearing that they have to parts in stock. I called another time and I was told to bring the car in for the recall parts, then told that the part was not covered it was a senor that was replaced, I was charged and sent on my way saying that my recalled part was not bad and did not need to be changed out. However the issue still continued at time I need my car so that I can work, but I am concerned that it is not safe to drive. I called the dealership again today and was told by one person that they have some recall parts in stock then my call was sent to a voicemail. I followed up an hour later and was told that the recall parts are for other people on the list and that they would add me to the list ( I have already been on for quite some time). Then I expressed concern regarding the sensor I did have to fix and paid for seemed to be going bad as well and was told that they had no opening until 8/31/15. I am concerned for my safety and the safety for my family, but what am I to do, I am at the mercy of the recalled parts and the dealership and I don't know what I need to do next. Please help

Starting in Dec. 2014 my vehicle would not start, it just clicked and clicked but would not start. The dealer said the wire harness needed replaced but they only spliced the cable and replaced the battery terminals which did not fix the problem and later both cables spliced melted. The starter had to be replaced but still had the starting problem, start sometimes or would click, click, click however many times until it started. It has been into the dealer 4 times and still going back again after replacing the ignition switch and finally putting in a new harness August 17, 2015, had it back one day and 35 clicks later it started; will be taking back to the dealer next week to continue searching for why it keeps doing this. I fear that it will just turn off and stop in the street again as it did Aug. 5, 2015, that was so scary! I have seen forums online that has person after person complaining of the same problem. That is why I decided to write a compliant here. Before all of this at the dealer it would not start so put in a new battery but it did not fix the problem. Intermittent problems make it so hard to know when it will happen or not.
