Town & Country LX 3.3L V6

Power sliding door on passenger side kept tripping the failsafe just before the door shut and reopened itself constantly. It left my doors open on street parking overnight more than once because I didn't notice.

Town & Country

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,000 miles

The sliding door would randomly open - even after closing completely and I had already walked away. Several times, I would come out of the grocery store or a medical appointment, (both LENGHTY trips,) and would discover that my door had been open. Fortunately, no one stole anything!

This problem then stopped just as suddenly as it started and hasn't, (knock on wood,) happened in a month or two.
