Well, after lots of $$, I'm still dealing with the cranks but it won't turn over. There's little tricks like turn key on put it in neutral and start it, which used to work all the time but now I jump the battery that's not dead and it starts!! Most of the time.

Car would not start, keep trying and it finally started and took it to the garage where they hooked it up to a fuel pressure gauge. There would be no pressure and then there would be full pressure and car would start. This happened several times and they advised me to put a new fuel pump in which I did. The car still has that problem but not as bad and in checking this seems to be a common problem with the tipm. this part is only available from a dealer. Not sure this is the problem.

I purchased my 2011Chrysler Town and Country from Fred Martin Super Store on Sept. 21, 2017. I really liked the van. Then on February 15, 2018, I attempted to start it and it just cranked and cranked without even firing. I had to turn the ignition to off position to force the starter to stop cranking. I waited about an hour and tried it again. This time it started perfectly. I thought it was a one time thing. Turned out I was drastically WRONG!!!

After that day it continued to randomly not start every other day or so. Then it began to happen more frequently. To shorten a long story, the van is currently sitting my driveway as a decoration. I'm far beyond frustrated. My mechanic told me that that my only option is to take the van to a certified Chrysler dealer and pay between $1,000 and $1,500 for a new TIPM ( totally integrated power module).

I don't have the money now, so I guess I'll wait until I save enough money to have the vehicle towed and repaired. I'm renting a replacement car to get me to work while I wait. I hear that this is a giant issue with Chrysler. Just wishing they would wake up and do something.

Husband was driving our 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. He stopped for gas after work on August 10,2016 and we he got back in, the car wouldn't start. Key got stuck in the ignition, lights were flickering, it appeared to be a dead battery. We replaced the battery and it still won't start. Everything is working now but when you turn the key fob, there is only a clicking sound. We checked the starter relay and start relay fuse and when bypassed, the engine spins but van won't start. We checked the rest of the fuses and they all seem to be working. Currently attempting to check some of the other relays....fingers crossed this works as we need 2 vehicles to transport our family which consists of 6 children....too bad Chrysler won't acknowledge this apparently widespread problem.

Car would not turn over. After a few attempts, the car started. I took it to an auto repair shop and the problem could not be replicated. The next day, the car will not even turn over. AAA comes and cannot get a charge, so it is towed to a dealership. The battery will not take a charge, so they replace the battery. Car starts, and we take it home. The next morning, the car will not start. AAA tows it back to the same dealership, and they diagnose it as a bad fuel pump relay and replace the TIPM

Had just spent about $800 to have faulty oil pressure sensor repaired as well as faulty pcv valve and hose a week before.

I normally do about 90% highway driving, so got really lucky this happened as I was leaving my parking spot and in the parking lot at the office. Was left scrambling getting kids picked up from school as that is where I was going.

Was driving in parking lot, and the check engine light came on, along with traction control light, the brakes got hard as a rock and the car just sort of stopped. Earlier in the day, my avg. mpg dropped drastically with all highway driving and my "blind spot sensors" gave an error about not working.

Currently in the shop for a day, with no answers as to what the issue with the car is. Had to have it towed to the dealership as it would not start, nor would it go into any gear other than park.

It's very bad getting stranded when van won't start. Have done fuel pump and sensors and battery and fuel relay fuse. Chysler needs to fix problem. Please help if anyone has answers.
