Upon purchase of vehicle on April 3, 2018, the check engine light surfaced. A computer diagnosis revealed a misfire in cylinder 6. Dealer mechanic replaced coil. Check engine light re-set. On or about April 9, 2018, check engine light resurfaced. On April 11, 2019, took vehicle to another mechanic whom advised that a computer diagnosis revealed a misfire in cylinder 6. Mechanic performed a complete tune-up by replacing all coils and sparks including spark plug in cylinder 6.

On May 4, 2018 check engine light resurfaced as vehicle was sent through emissions testing. Vehicle failed due to misfire in cylinder 6. On May . On May 9, Vehicle taken back to mechanic to perform a compression test. Mechanic advised that all cylinders tested at 145-150 psi except for 6 which was erratic. Mechanic also performed a wet test and determined the the issue was with the head for cylinder 6 and recommended the head be resurfaced. The repair cost are high and to date, vehicle is not able to be given a tag due to failed emissions.
