The passenger side sliding door will not latch closed in hot weather. It continuously tries to close but doesn-€™t latch. This has been happening for years. Now it is starting to do this while driving when the door is not even being opened or closed. The overhead lights come on and the door ajar symbol flashes and dings. It will continue to do this for 20 minutes or more while the door continuously tries to close. I have two children and feel that this is a safety issue because the door is not secure while driving. I have not yet taken it to a dealer because I have read online that tons of people have this problem and dealers haven-€™t been able to find a cause.
