In the last 40,000 miles I've blown three f*ckin' alternators. Ford sucks and Ford dealerships are horrendous. Especially Heritage Ford and Toyota in Burlington, VT. I've been to these jokers a few times for "service." Once for an alternator, once for my Firestone tire recall and once for actual car shopping. The difference between the attitude on the sales floor and the attitude in the service department was drastic and severe. The service department, it seemed to me, was only interested in driving complaints away. Instead of actual help, I encountered the shifty rhetoric of the jerky service desk people. Once they told me my car was ready to be picked up so I rode my bike forty-five miles in to pick it up. Much to my dismay, they hadn't touched my car. They hadn't done anything to it. I hate Ford, Ford Dealerships, and Firestone. In this guy's opinion they are low quality and have terrible customer service.
