awesome vehicle but the dash lights went out. I replaced the headlight switch, checked all necessary fuses, pulled out the dash assembly, replaced all bulbs. still no lights.
why cant anybody explain the problem with this problem?. every thing works except the dash lights and accessory lights within the interior door lights. could this be a simple relay or could it be the dimmer switch?, all fuses are ok....????????????
could use some help.

I have the problem of a couple lights in the dash and the climate selector panel going out but no biggie its annoying not being able to see the gas gauge at night but I'm going to look into it when it warms the heck up outside!
91-01 Explorer's are definitely great vehicles, and will deff. not look into getting any other SUV, even if its 20 years out of date no suv except Land Rover was made as good/nice/good looking as the Explorers. I'm proud owner of two and probably another one in a week or so.
