FORD SYNC WITH MY FORD TOUCH DOES NOT PAIR WITH APPLE IPHONE 6. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE IPHONE 6 IS NOT ON THE APPROVED LIST FOR USE WITH THE SYNC SYSTEM!! IT DID WORK FOR A WHILE WHEN WE FIRST GOT THE VEHICLE. WE WERE NEVER TOLD THIS WHEN WE BOUGHT THIS CERTIFIED PREOWNED VEHICLE IN APRIL, 2015. WE HAVE CALLED FORD DIRECTLY, AND WERE TOLD THAT THEY HAVE NO WAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAS GIVEN US THE FOLLOWING EXCUSES: SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE UPDATED (THEY DID THIS AND THE PROBLEM PERSISTED) IT'S NOT THE SYNC SYSTEM, IT'S THE IPHONE. THE SYNC SYSTEM SCREEN NOW JUST GOES DARK AT DIFFERENT TIMES. IT WILL PAIR INFREQUENTLY, AND THEN THE IPHONE DROPS OUT WITHIN MINUTES. IT DOES NOT READ THE IPHONE WHEN CONNECTED TO THE USB. THE RADIO STATIONS (FM AND SXM) WILL SCAN AND PICK A NEW STATION AT WILL. NAV WILL NOT WORK IF IPHONE BLUETOOTH IS ON. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISSATISFIED WITH A PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE (OR LACK THEREOF) IN OUR LIVES. WHAT WE ARE BEING TOLD IS TO GET RID OF THE IPHONES, HOWEVER COMPLAINTS WE HAVE RESEARCHED SHOW COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANDROID AS WELL. DID MICROSOFT DESIGN THIS SYSTEM JUST TO WORK WITH WINDOWS OS PHONES? WE ARE GIVING THE DEALERSHIP ONE MORE OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM, OR WE WILL REPORT TO BBB AND TRADE THE VEHICLE IN FOR ANOTHER MAKE.
