My frustrations are the same as several others. The location of the buttons/controls for the 3rd row seats seems to be a safety hazard. I don't like that once a button is pushed to move the seats, it can't be stopped. However, my greater frustration is that the 3rd row seats have stopped working. There is no noise at all when I press the buttons/controls. We frequently have "extra" kids with us, but with the 3rd row seats not functioning, we can no longer safely (or legally) transport more than 1 extra kid. As a result, if we have additional kids, we're forced to take 2 vehicles when we take our kids anywhere. Unlike some of the older Explorers, there is no handle to manually release the 3rd row seats and return them to the upright position. From what I've read, there isn't much hope for getting this repaired, and it doesn't sound like it's as simple as replacing a fuse. This is definitely an inconvenience.
