CarComplaints.com Notes: Power steering problems started rearing their ugly head in the 2010 Fusion, so you'd think Ford had plenty of time to make sure those problems didn't creep into the 2012. But here we are.

The Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) is a mess. It fails at an alarming rate. Don’t believe us? Take a look at NHTSA’s data on the subject.

And much like the power steering, we’re still seeing the same throttle body failures that started in 2010 continue in 2012.

Bought car used with 21,000 Miles in 2015, from dealer, supposedly coming off lease. At 44,000 Miles, steering rack had to be replaced.

Now, at 61,000 Miles, dealer tells me both front springs are cracked and lower control arms will need replacing, as bushings art deteriorated and boots are torn. I’ve bought American my entire life, but with this total lack of quality, I might be forced to an import.

Ford needs to own up and recall the defective springs! They have no parts, and won't for at least 8 weeks...can't buy the anywhere! WTF FORD???? I have been a customer for over 35 years, now I doubt if I will ever buy one again. Quality? LMAO
