I replaced the alternator and starter on my wifes 1988 Honda Accord and now it will not charge. I disconnected the negative clamp from the battery and checked for a short and guess what I found one,but I have no idea where to begin to search. One of the things it did while running after I disconnected the positive clamp was one at a time the headlight doors opened and the closed with me at the front of the car,but the car did not die with the cable off, even though it tried.I have checked all the connections to make sure that everything was tight and free from corrosion.I almost forgot, the alternator light does come on but very dimm most of the time. Can someone please help?
