My 1993 Accord shut off while driving. I had it towed to Honda dealer. Started and ran fine this morning (the day after).

I am an electronic engineer and know that it is not possible to find a problem that disappears before trouble shooting can begin, BUT I have a feeling that a dealer should have a database of such problems and proceed using history information.
