CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.

For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.

Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2014 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

Radio volume is malfunctioning when turning volume up/down. You need to play and move the knob a few times to increase or decrease volume. It is annoying. It seems that it has a loose connection internally.

Imagine how startling it would be to be driving in heavy traffic and then reach for the volume knob of the radio to turn it down, but instantly it goes to full volume. Each time you try to turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the volume, it only gets louder. This has happened many times to my 2014 Accord Radio. It is not consistent, but will happen several times during each week. I have reported this to the Honda Dealer, they did nothing. This is startling and dangerous since it shocks the driver and creates a big distraction, possibly panic within the car.
