CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.

For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.

Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2014 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

It started peeling around rear window, which was completely peeled within 3 years. When sold as used car, I was dinged $700 for the peeling paint.

Paint peeling from rear window track. Took to Honda of Decatur and was referred to a preferred body shop. Info forwarded to a nameless regional rep that refused to cover it. I request a reconsideration and the brainless wonder told me it was out of was out of warranty. Please note the vehicle had sat in my garage for 3 years while I was getting hips replaced and therapy. No one drove it and is pristine condition. 12th Honda i have owned and apparently they were bought by a Chinese company that no longer back up their product. I will let the whole paint fall off and put a large Honda emblem on it so others will see what their vehicles do and how they treat customers. After, I'll trade for a Toyota. Never would have thought i would need an extended warranty for the paint job.

The paint in the recess where the rear window sets is peeling all around the window down to the primer. This has been happening for a while but we never noticed it and the car wash guy never brought it to our attention. It is obviously poor prep work in the paint department and is not rusting at this point.

Took it to our Honda dealership and they agree that it needed to be repainted and they are willing to pay 70% of the cost to get it fixed. I an still working with them as I think this is all on Honda. I was told by one of the service writers at Honda that they have seen this several times in the past and it happens almost exclusively on the white cars. Honda still won't cover this 100%

This along with a few other issues is destroying my faith in Honda.
