Interior Rearview mirror broken, flopping around and vibrating after dealer serviced the vehicle and hung a number tag on the mirror. I ordered a new "Honda mirror" and installed the part myself. After installing the new mirror and feeling how tight it was, I realized the original mirror had to be cracked already since day one because the old mirror was never this tight.
Since I had numerous other problems with faulty parts in my vehicle that are abnormal for a new car, to include driver exterior side mirror that was loose and floppy, I suspected this is yet another bad part from the factory during assembly where someone got too aggressive with the mirror during assembly, didn't pay attention to what they were doing due to poor handling or poor training, didn't tighten it properly, or the part was defective. Maybe both!
My new mirror is working great, installed professionally by "ME" and "WITH PRIDE", right here in the USA. The mirror is now very stiff, doesn't vibrate, move around, not floppy or rattle and stays in place. No more safety concern with a faulty vibrating floppy mirror.
