Car was purchased new in May 2019. Oil level on dipstick found to be about 3/4" above the full mark on 2/3/2020. The oil had been previously changed by the dealer and the "Maintenance Indicator" was at 80%. I called the dealer and was asked to bring the car in. Car was just short of turning 10,000 miles. They changed the oil (but not the filter) and reset the Maintenance Indicator to 100%. This was done at no cost to me. Dealer indicated that some CRV models with the 1.5 Turbo engine exhibited this problem but that he was not aware of this on the Accord with the 1.5L Turbo. He asked that I continue to monitor the oil level. It is noteworthy that I was given no paperwork documenting what was done.
