The screen would turn completely black or very dark with purple lines when the car was in reverse. The dealer couldn't replicate it of course so I sent them a video of it doing it and they were able to use that to replace the radio/navigation unit under warranty. The new one still does it occasionally but it obviously isn't worth trying to get it replaced again since it seems to be an ongoing issue.
