    • Date Announced: MAY 11, 2009
    • Vehicles Affected: 42,540

    Summary: Dope, Inc. Is recalling 42,540 combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies of various part numbers sold for use as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles. These headlamps fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, And Associated Equipment." These lamps do not contain the required amber side reflectors.

    Consequence: Decreased lighting visibility may result in a vehicle crash.

  2. 1992 Toyota Pickup EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS NHTSA Campaign #08E050000

    • Date Announced: AUGUST 11, 2008
    • Vehicles Affected: 1,921

    Summary: K2 motor is recalling 1,921 aftermarket headlamps of various models sold for use on the above listed vehicles. These headlamps are missing the amber side reflex reflector which fails to conform with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, And Associated Equipment."

    Consequence: Without the amber side reflex reflectors, the lighting visibility may be affected, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.

  3. 1992 Toyota Pickup EXTERIOR LIGHTING NHTSA Campaign #06E026000

    • Date Announced: MARCH 23, 2006
    • Vehicles Affected: 61,944

    Summary: Certain pro-a motors corner lamps, turn signals, and headlights sold as replacement lamps for use on certain passenger vehicles listed above. Some combination lamps that are not equipped with amber side reflectors fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.

    Consequence: Without the amber reflectors, the vehicle will be poorly illuminated, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash without warning.

  4. 1992 Toyota Pickup STEERING:LINKAGES:ROD:RELAY:CONNECTING NHTSA Campaign #05V389000

    • Date Announced: SEPTEMBER 06, 2005
    • Vehicles Affected: 977,839

    Summary: On certain Pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles, if the steering wheel is repeatedly turned under certain conditions where high steering effort and power assist are required, for instance, when fully turning the wheel while the vehicle is stopped, a fatigue crack may develop in the steering relay rod.

    Consequence: If the vehicle is continued to be operated in this condition, the relay rod may fracture, increasing the risk of a crash.
