CarComplaints.com Notes: The 3rd generation A8 got off to a slow start. Really slow, like "limp home" slow thanks to leaking antifreeze frying the engine's control modules. Thankfully the problem was recalled in September 2016.

I have only had this vehicle for 2 years. It only has 68,000 miles on it. I have been told this is a known issue by Audi. I also know there is no recall right now. But I can not drive my car for the price it is to fix it completely. 15,000 was quoted to me for damages. It is currently sitting in my garage and I am paying a note on it each month still and car insurance. For a VEHICLE I CAN NOT DRIVE. I love this vehicle and really do not want to have to sell it for under value if I can not use it. Pisses me off to no end that I can not enjoy my vehicle the way I thought I would be able to.
