Summary
Adjustment of the HUD is only possible in Ignition Terminal Status 'Driving'. INFORMATION The HUD can be adjusted by the customer for some options Height on the windshield Displayed information via the CID Note: These adjustments should only be made while the vehicle is stationary (in Park) with the engine running. The ability to make adjustments to the HUD display can only be done when the ignition terminal status is set to 'Driving'. When the ignition terminal status is set to 'Residing' the HUD will briefly come on when operating the Multifunction Steering Wheel (MFL) for items such as radio station selection or volume adjustment. Even though the HUD is briefly illuminated you don't have the ability to adjust the HUD with the ignition in terminal status 'Residing'. The HUD settings in the CID will be grayed out if the: HUD image is faded out on the windshield Ignition terminal status is 'Residing' The G12 vehicle has three possible ignition statuses: Parking (Asleep) Residing (Awake) Driving (Ready) Training Manual ST1501 G12 Complete Vehicle.
