The contact owns a 2010 Buick Enclave. The contact stated that the liftgate fractured and would not stay up without being manually held. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. The VIN was not available.

2010 Buick Enclave. Consumer writes in regards to failing lift gate. Consumer is seeking reimbursement for repairs. The consumer stated at the time of the recall the dealership refused to repair the vehicle due to it not experiencing the failure. The vehicle was repaired.

2010 Buick Enclave. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle brake system, electrical and mechanical issues. The consumer stated shortly after he purchased the vehicle, he discovered the brake lining needed to be replaced, the rear lift gate opened on its own. Also, the instrument panel was inoperative.
