Instrument panel lights worked intermittently (started out that way), then quit completely. I had to carry a small flashlight to check my speed while driving at night. The drive shifter lights went out too.The right rear tail light is out (bulbs replaced and fuses checked and it still won't work). Now, as of a couple weeks ago, the lights are all working again except the Rear tail light. My mechanic suggested taking it to another city to a guy who specializes in electrical issues, however I don't have the money to do this. I have had other issues but will report them separately. Bought this car brand new.

Lost all of my Dash Lights and Console Lights on the interior plus the right tail light. I would like to know what the correct FIX is and believe this should be a RECALL item due to all of the other people having the same Problem with their AVEO's. Its obviously a manufacturers defect or an Engineering Defect and should be addressed by GM. It seems that only Toyota is really trying to do the right thing on Items like this. I guess that the USA Manufacturers only address these items if some is being Killed. What happened to Car Quality in the US?

The door lock on the drivers side has messed up twice. The inside lights have not worked since 2008

Express oil got a fuse and it still did not work. They could not fix it. Dash lights have been out for over a year. Price to fix would be 500.00. The tail light has gone out. bought new lights and it still does not work. I feel there is an electrical problem. Cannot drive my car at night.

My 2005 Aveo tail lights, and front driving lights stopped working, and at the same time the driving lights stop, the interior lights go out. The will come back on, but it is always random when they go on and off. I am unable to drive my car at night, due to the fact I cannot see when my dash lights go out. I also do not want to get pulled over because I have no tail lights. This is a serious safety issue, and I can see that several other aveos have this same problem, so I am wondering why there is no recall on this??

My interior lights are all out not working at all. my radio is out hasnt been working for a couple months now. My headlight and taillight just went out. all fuses are good inside the car and under the hood also. I am sick of my transmission acting up and not working right. this car needs to be on recall after all the problems that are reported what if something bad happens to someone!!!!
