Captiva

I own a 2013 Captiva, on a regular basis I turn off the vehicle and am unable to take the key out of the ignition. This has been happening for around 6 months. I read many, many complaints about this issue and just want it fixed, however my car is out of warranty @ a little over 70000 miles on it. This isn't something I should have to pay to get fixed if I can sit here on my computer and read about it happening to others 100's if not 1000's of times! there are also points were the engine just about stalls out, it happens mostly when just parked but there are times that it seems to act like it will die when drivin. Not to mention it always momentarily loses power when accelerating, usually around 20 miles an hour. There is also an issue with the climate controls, it never makes the temperature you chose, if it's on defrost it blows hot air no matter what and most of the other settings blow cold air. I never really get a temperature to be comfortable.

While driving, the dash board lights will come on from time to time. The signal light inside the car may show, but not indicated outside. Once in a while the cabin light flutter, dim and then return to full brightness. The radio may stop working and " ting, ting" sound may come on with the dash board panel lights illuminated momentarily. This car was recently serviced by the dealer and I have reported on this problem before. Since it occurs very often, I have indicated the date of the last occurrence. Thanks

When trying to start the vehicle the key won't turn to start the car. Has happened at least 12 times. Called aaa to start it. Mechanic had hard time starting the vehicle. Has to push on brake so hard that I can't do it. He said this should not be happening. He had difficult time. I am afraid to drive the car. I want this reported and something done. Something is defective. Also the bumper paint is all chipped where it attaches to the body the whole way around on one bumper. This is a defect also. No way should these two problems be happening!! I also want to know if there is a recall on the air bag problem?

Since my 2013 Chevy Captiva took the place of the Saturn vue when Saturn shut down. How can I be sure that since my Captiva is exclusively sold to fleet consumers that my vehicle is not being overlooked on this ignition switch recall program since it is almost identical to the Pontiac G5 and Chevy cobalt ignition switch?
