I can never leave the car outside - in the rain - or I get 2-floorboards full of water. The defect is in the firewall welds. The rubber sealant eventually shrinks and holds pockets of hidden water - that rusts holes in the firewall. These pockets are hidden under the sealant until it is too late. The metal is too thin for welders to fix. I am stuck with a leaky car. I had a neighbor with the same car and the same exact problem.
