If my car has been sitting for more than an hour I have to turn the key and let the engine turn over a few times then let it rest and try it again. I haven't had to try and get the engine more than twice each time.
It is related to the fuel issue that my car is having, and this is just more of a pain and slightly embarrassing when you are out in public.
