As it turns out, the #3 cylinder is misfiring and if you replace the plugs it still does it. If you continue without fixing it, you're looking at having the cylinder rebored...at a cost of 3k and up...REALLY!!!!

Runs like crap most of the time. Every now and then runs like a top. Does the same in cold or hot weather. I have spent around $500.00 at dealership and yet the problem persist.

Hi, As a new truck that we could not afford but bought anyway so my young daughter would be safe driving to and from college and work nights, it would shake A LOT then stall out. We brought it back a few times (it did not happen often) and was told to bring it in when it happens because they couldn't find the prob. ahhh can't drive it when it happens. When it starts again (the next try or the 1'000th) it once again runs fine. We even bought new wheels and tire's because we were told to have it balanced and it didn't help. One year later the fuel gauge stopped working. Paid $700.00 to fix it and it never worked again from the day we picked it up the next day she ran out of gas with a half a tank ?? It was not until today that I was reading on line that I see other people have the shake and quit prob and feel it is fuel related. Because of finance I got a 5 year loan and still have 2 years left. I can not afford to trade it in and start again. Was anyone able to conquer this ?? Please help
