The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. After braking forcefully to avoid a crash, the vehicle made an abnormal noise. The failure occurred without warning. The technician stated that there were parts missing on the passenger side brakes and misaligned parts on the driver side brakes. The vehicle was repaired. Prior to the failure, the vehicle was repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 15V278000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 13,234. Updated 12/20/16
