The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. While driving approximately 30 mph, the contact rear ended another vehicle. The front air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was driven to the dealer and partially repaired. The manufacturer was contacted five times and they declined to send a field investigator to determine why the air bags did not deploy. The approximate failure mileage was 2,700.

The vehicle was towed to a collision center where the front bumper, the radiator, and the windshield were replaced. The air bag failure was undetermined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,000.
