Transmission shuttering/noticeable vibration while cruising. Dealer replace transmission fluid and shuttering resolved. However, upon initial 1st and 2nd gear engagement on the first drive of the day, the transmission hesitates and aggressively lunges forward at a higher speed than anticipated. Not safe, normal or desirable. This is a known problem that the dealer knows about but what is the resolution/fix to the issue? No warning lights have been displayed.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the RPM decreased to 1,200 and the vehicle started to shudder and shake. The contact was able to continue to drive the vehicle to the residence. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer to be inspected. The dealer performed a transmission flush to fix the failure however, the failure persisted. The contact took the vehicle back to the local dealer who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the vehicle with 3 bent wheels. The wheels were not replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,399. Per the dealership, the bent wheels are not covered under warranty and the problem is the result of normal wear-and-tear. However, I found numerous complaints on the internet stating GM made the wheels with inferior material that is "cast, rather than forged, and is of insufficient strength to withstand the torque and power input from the drivetrain, " I am now scared to drive the car because the bent wheels or a safety hazard and will more than likely start to crack which could result in causing a wreck. At this time the only way to correct the failure is to purchase new wheels if I wish to continue to drive the car and prevent from being a safety hazard or causing a collision.
