The five year old battery failed in my 2005 Equinox and was replaced by Pep Boys in Florida on a vacation trip 600 miles from my home in South Carolina. When car was picked up, the sunroof was tilted in the slightly open position. They quoted me a price of $400 to take the interior headliner out to look at the motor and control module just to see what was wrong. Parts would have been additional. I declined and taped the opening up with quality blue painters tape to drive the car home through any rain showers and examine the problem in South Carolina. Here the car sits while I look for an inexpensive solution.
