The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. While driving approximately 40 mph, an abnormal noise emitted from the front of the vehicle. The dealer diagnosed that the timing belt tensioner needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. In addition, while driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 82,000.
