While driving the speed limit of 65, we hit a small bump on the road, shortly after, the car accelerated by itself drove for about a mile or so then would not drive any further. A mechanic came and reset the module by turning off the engine, stepping on the brake turning the ignition on and I was able to drive the car for a mile before it did the same thing again. The mechanic said he had reset the computer and said it is the transmission control module and verified that it does exactly what it did when there is a problem. The car is parked until I can get to it again.
