The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. While driving various speeds, the collision avoidance system independently applied, but there was no vehicle or object in the path of the sensor. The collision warning indicator illuminated and the tire pressure warning indicator did not display the correct tire information. The vehicle was taken to mchugh Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (3420 maple ave, zanesville, oh), but the failure could not be diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
