Random acceleration (feels like the car SURGES when you coast to slow down -- not sure if it's trans, fuel system, or computer control), but it is serious enough that I'm looking to dump this car that I just bought last August. It has happened on several occasion; going forward I shall report each incident.
Today my wife was driving car and pulled up to stop sign and again as before it surged through the stop sign but there was no other damage because no one was coming.
Wife was driving and went to park the car and it jumped the sidewalk and hit the side of a building head on. Had only minor damage of front license plate and paint damage on front of car. No damage to building.
Was attempting to park in a lot when it suddenly lunged forward missing a new pick up by inches. Ended up in adjoining parking lot that was empty other than the pickup. I was totally terrified at the power that came from this unintended acceleration. It actually jumped a curb that separated 2 parking lots. It would have been a disaster if there had been cars/people in the way of this journey. We attempted to duplicate this problem in an empty church parking lot - couldn't get it to happen, however, I am very reluctant to drive this car - it is beyond an irritant - very dangerous! Took the vehicle in again. Said they didn't know what was wrong with it. There are no complaints and GM hasn't issued a bulletin on the problem. The car feels like it is going to take off while waiting at a stop.
