The engine light came on, on the way home from work and started running rough. I was due for an oil change and took my vehicle to my mechanic on Thursday. According to the codes, I needed a new intake and exhaust solenoid, as well as a crank sensor. He changed those parts, but it did not resolve the problem. When checking the oil, he discovered that the engine was burning an excessive amount of oil. So much that the oil didn't show up on the dipstick. He added an oil treatment to oil, ran the car for a few minutes, then drained the oil, changed the filter, added new oil and reset the codes in the PCM. It was still running rough, but he thought after driving it, it would clear up.

Check engine came on followed by Truck losing control. It slowed down then came to a complete stop with me not having control of it as wheel locked to the left.

I have only had the vehicle since December 2015, and for it just to stop, no indication lights, nothing. It had to be towed to the Dealership, and after having it for six (6) days, they said they could not find anything wrong with it. The sound of the motor running, is louder than any New Car, I have every heard. I have reached out to General Motors, they want me to take it to another Dealership, to see what if anything they may find. WHY SHOULD I BE THE ONE INCONVENIENCED... The attitude of the Representative at the Dealership was not to encouraging either, she gave me a 1-800-Chevrolet, to call for towing IF it stopped again. "It's not like we don't believe you" she said.
