I was shocked to see this. I've never had this issue with my previous 6 Chevrolets that I've owned. The vehicle is not that old and it's barely over 50K miles. A previous complaint states the hood. This is on the hood. I only noticed it because I was parked on a slant. My hope is that this becomes a part of a recall. It's not wear and tear or due to damage.

This is not a mechanical issue and the car is less than 3 years old, so mileage should not come in to play. I have been told by other Equinox owners of 2019 models having the same complaint. I want to have it added to the list of other GM vehicles that had the same issue listed in gmauthority.com

During my last service maintenance appointment I advised the service manager of the paint chipping on my car because it is now went from a small spot to a growing larger - you're ugly place on my hood. He advised me that there were no current recalls on my car - why aren't there recalls on my vehicle? I would have to make an appointment with The Body Shop - they would have to then replace the panel on my vehicle. He made it very seemingly aggravating.
