Problem occurred about 2l/2 years ago. I have talked with many mechanics and the local dealership people and no one has heard of such a problem. Engine light computer analysis shows Value # 4 sticking (carbon build up is a general speculation) and all carbon treatments have not worked along with new plugs, wires, etc. At first, light was on and off at various times and now light and problem generally remain on. When light is off, car idles smoothly and when it is on, engine idles rough. Obviously an issue.
Now mechanics have thrown out possibility of pulling heads at $1200 +.
I worry about damage to engine although have been told by the experts that it is not expected to do so.
Has anyone else had a problem like this? Solutions?
