Front seat passenger was killed on impact, accident caused by poor visibility due front windshield columns that are to broad, a death occurred to front seat passenger, and injuries to driver, that took 6 weeks to recuperate. The coroner said he drives an HHR , and he too noticed the poor visibility issue..
I notified the dealership where the car was purchased and he stated that many complaints had been made regarding the poor visibility issue. Nothing can bring back the passenger that died, but I wish something could be done to prevent this from happening to another person.
At the scene the police asked if something obstructed my visibility and I told them them the columns,
The Air bags did not deploy either.
