There are many recalls for the year make and model of my vehicle. They just didn't recall my exact vin. The breaks are recalled, air bags were recalled and they were buying back the vehicles, the fuel delivery system was recalled, headlights were recalled, cruise control was recalled, steering column and yoke was recalled, and a few more. None were recalled for my vin number when it should have been. I took my car to the dealership today, Chevrolet did a few things under "warranty" instead of issuing a safety recall. (They issued 10 recalls on this year make and model) (one recall was the air bags, my vehicle is doing the same thing). The fuel delivery system and fuel pump was recalled but not on my vin number. I just really need help getting my car repaired. I cannot afford to fix all of this when there's records dating back to the purchase of the vehicle, showing that there are problems and Chevrolet neglectfully didn't recall it and instead tried to brush it off as a warranty instead of safety recall. My car leaks gas, the steering it messed up, headlights no longer work due to the electrical issue, the instrument cluster was damaged due to the ecm issue, there's just so many problems... My car could potentially catch fire for the fuel leak, carbon monoxide smell, electrical wiring and the air bags could potentially deploy.

The car constantly shows a digital message saying "service air bags, " it was serviced over a year ago in NY at a Buick dealer, and there was a recall relating to changing the key fob. Didn't work or make sense. In mn my mechanic has looked at the error several times, can't find a code, resets the computer and the message still shows. In addition, the passenger side seat now shows an air bag malfunction too. I can't find a recall but I am gravely concerned that I have no protection for either passenger. This is my second registration of this compaint and I have heard nothing>

My 2006 Chevrolet Malibu's airbags did not function in two separate hard-hitting crashes. The car's engine light often comes on and stays on until I drive over a large bump in the road or slam on my brakes to give it a jolt. I also smell fuel periodically. The horn has not worked for many years. I took my car to a dealer once with the request to replace my ignition switch because it gets stuck intermittently, and they strangely refused to replace it because "it isn't malfunctioning for us." This was before the recalls became public. They did repair the "high tone" horn but it stopped working within a few months. I believe I have a dangerous vehicle.

The first thing that happened was my passenger side rear door just suddenly flew open while I was driving my vehicle down the road. Doors were locked and all were completely closed and the door just came open for some unknown reason. Had my mechanic take a look and he couldn't see anything unusual about the mechanism or anything on the door. It has happened several times since so now I put the seatbelt through the door handle and pull it tight and lock seatbelt into place so if it happens the door won't fly open again. The second issue I am having is with the airbag warning light and alarm coming on randomly when I am driving my car. I took it into the Chevy dealership for one of the other recalls and they said that to put it on the tester, it would cost me $120 (which I cannot afford to pay), so they just let it be and fixed the recall I brought it in for. I am still having the problem and I notice that when the warning light is off and I press the horn...it comes on immediately and beeps at me. Is this a safety issue to be concerned with" with all the issues and recalls this car has been having I am not sure if it's an issue to be concerned about or not or just wait to hear on another recall or" I can't pay that to have it actually diagnosed.

On October 15, 2014, I was on my way to work when the steering in my car suddenly and completely went out. For no reason, my car lost control and began to swerve and the wheels began to squeal. My steering wheel was easily movable, but the car would not go in the direction that I turned the wheel. I almost hit another car head on if she hadn't stopped her car. I also couldn't stop the car. As I applied the brakes, the car did a complete 360 turn as it continued to travel down the street. The car finally hopped the curb and hit a light pole on the front driver's side. The car finally stopped, but felt like it wanted to continue to drift until I took the key out of the car. My car has been declared a total loss by my insurance company and I could've died had I hit that other vehicle head on, or if that pole hadn't stopped my vehicle. No airbags ever deployed.

The vehicle went through a field through 2 fences and over a ditch before coming to a stop. The engine did not shut off. There was major front end damage, from the fence posts, and the air bags never deployed. The vehicle was declared a total loss due to the damage.

When first starting the car and also while driving the air bag indicator comes on and information center reads service air bag along with an alarm. When this happens all the above-mentioned warning lights and read out may stay on for the entire ride or go off shortly after coming on. Has not affected the driving or handling of vehicle. I am concerned that if this happens before an accident will the air bags deploy.
