The drivers door will not open from outside or from the inside. Door Actuator issue. The dealership said it can be fixed but if the door panel breaks while they a trying to repair it, it will my cost of about $300 to get a new door panel. I have an extended warranty on my car so all the work and parts are covered. But while trying to get the door open if the panel breaks it my cost????
To me this is a safety issue. What if I had to get out of the vehicle in an instant. My door does not open at all. I could be in trouble or who is ever driving the car at the time. Not good and I think Chevy/GM should be responsible for the panel if they break it.I have seen other complaints on this and I think it is a big safety issue.
