So I was driving my 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and it completely started acting crazy. Lights were going off and on (I should mention, the whole electric system). It stalled but would not stop, so I had to press on the breaks extremely hard to get it to stop. Steering wheel locked up! Got it started just enough time to get it pulled to side of road and never started back up. Been in shop now for 3 WEEKS AS THE DEALERSHIP HAS CHARGED ME OVER $800 to find out the recommendation of a NEW ENGINE! Do the dealership put in a new fuse block, didn’t need that to figure out problem!
Dealership changed plugs and wires, didn’t need that done either to figure out problem! They should have ran a vacuum test on it and they would have found the problem. What a rip off! Let me mention it was at Haydocy in Columbus, Ohio! Now GM want me to cover $7300.00 to get car fixed! What? That issue never had anything to do with my neglect! I have to say a defective part in car! And so many other mechanics that I talked with about it AGREE! So let’s go back to this POS CAR! They want me to pay to have a new engine put in because of crappy engineering in making CHEAP PARTS they now put on cars! Not going to happen!
