The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the door actuator was defective. The contact stated that the door locks failed to function as designed. The contact stated that the doors were only able to be opened by manually using the key. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under warranty at sterling mccall Chevrolet (17800 North fwy, houston, tx 77090). The repair was prorated by the dealer for the driver's side door only. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 34,115.
