CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 has an early trend of the transmission shifting hard, surging & jerking.

At the moment these trucks are still under warranty. However this transmission problem shows up right away with the average reported mileage only around 3,000 miles, so for now the 2017 Silverado earns our "Beware of the Clunker" badge.

After being rear-ended, I asked James Woods to check the alignment on the truck since it felt out of sorts. They said from the view of the impact it wasn't something they needed to check. When I picked up from repair, a couple months later I was replacing my tires (now out of the claim and having to pay for the alignment myself). It is an embarrassment the way these repair shops operate.
