2018 Silverado LT has a high pitched noise (that you can hear even over the radio) when maintaining a constant speed between 65 and 80 mph. The noise is so bad it gives my wife a migraine. When you accelerate or decelerate or manually shift from 6th to 5th gear the noise goes away. I took to the dealer and they said GM will not do anything until there is at least 3000 miles on the vehicle because the noise could go away! It didn't ! The dealer first replaced the 5th and 6th gear to no avail. Then the said it was the rear end so rebuild the rear end no luck there either. Then replaced the intake and air intake still no luck. Then they replace the rear end, and yup no fix. Now the say it the Transmission so they put a new transmission and you guessed it still making the noise. NOW they say that all the 2018 6 speed transmissions make that noise. I contacted GM they will not to a buy back because it is normal noise for that a vehicle.
