Noticed the paint starting to flake off the front bumper and off the tailgate the other day. This truck is way too new and way too expensive to be having problems like this. This is the high country edition and it costed over $70k new. Seeing the paint flake off like this is absolutely demoralizing. My 2011 Silverado 1500 never had any issues with the paint, or anything else for that matter. It was a solid truck and I really regret trading it in for this one I have now. GM should really issue a recall for the paint on these Silverados, especially their top of the line High Country edition. A $70k truck should not have problems with the paint flaking off when it not even a full 2 years old yet and has been washed and cared for meticulously.
