At around 6,100 miles, the Check Engine Light began flashing and turned back off after 20 or 30 seconds. Scanned the code and got P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire. After talking to the Chevy dealer, they wanted to check it out. At 6,300 miles, it went to the dealer and after 7 hours in the shop I was told that the ECM software needed updated in accordance to a TSB on the issue. Dealer re-flashed the ECM and test drove the vehicle. I was told the issue was fixed and the vehicle was good to go. Here we are the next day and it is misfiring worse than it was before it went in for service.

Second time the truck has been in the shop in a month. First time the check engine light was flashing and giving a pending P0300 code. Dealer reflashed the ECM per the service bulletin. Now the check engine light isn't flashing or showing any codes, but the misfire is much more prominent. Also had some lifter knock last night upon startup. Truck is at the dealer right now for service to look at it again.
