evaporative emission system faults

Scheduled service with dealer due to check engine light on and MyChevrolet app indicating a problem with the evaportative emissions system. Took it in on 06 NOV 2025 and it threw codes P0446 (EVAP vent system performance) and P0455 (EVAP system large leak). EVAP system inspected and smoke tested by dealer. No leakage found and system operation checked correctly operating. Dealer test drove and no system issues duplicated. The whole process took about six hours because the model was so new, they didn't have an adequate history to go off of. Check engine light remained off, however, when I went to fill it up, I could only put about 3 gallons in (tank was 1/4 full) because it kept spitting gas back out of the nozzle.

30 miles later, check engine light came back on and MyChevrolet app indicated the same problem. Took it back in for service on 13 NOV 2025 and demanded a loaner car bc I'm not waiting all day for them to figure this out again. Threw code P0446 (EVAP vent system performance), Dealer replaced SL-N-SOLENOID (03130-CT) per SOP, even though solenoid was found to be operating correctly. Has operated correctly since.

This seems to be a unique problem. The solenoid was clicking, indicating it was operating, but was throwing bad codes, making the remote start fail to work. Could be a sensor fault. Replacement of solenoid seemed to do the trick.
