dangerous; unable to steer vehicle,no brakes
fired up my truck in front of my house, after releasing the parking brake I noticed the brakes and steering wheel were not working. Called AAA and had a flat bed tow truck pick up my truck and take me to Chevrolet of Montebello. Technician said brakes didn't work because power steering pump went out. Cost me $1653.44 to fix ,had it been 2days earlier it could have cost me my family we had just got back from up north. Believe me, coming down the Grape Vine with a fifth wheel in tow could have been a disaster or possible death. I hope Chevy places a recall on this problem because there is no doubt in my mind that you may, in the near future hear about a death due to this problem.
