I have had both tail lamps replaced on our 2017 Sonic, due to excessive moisture inside the lamp housing. Seemed to occur mostly on damp cold days. The dealer was good about replacing them but also stated they will only replace them the first time and will not cover future issues. I say if it is some design flaw, which it most likely is, why wouldn't it be covered throughout the warranty period. Or better yet, replace them with ones that have the design or manufacturing flaw corrected?
