Steering wheel control button resets the radio. Steering wheel stereo control buttons (Bose system) certainly do get hot, but in addition, using the inner left control button sometimes shuts down the stereo/disc player and it then restarts with 12:00 as the time and the XM radio stations are not available. You can regain the XM stations by turning the ignition off, then on again, but you have to reset the clock every time. This happens to me about once a month. Have not had the dealer look at this yet as I am concerned about the cost to repair or replace and I know how to fix it myself.
